President Donald Trump is once again threatening to wipe out Iran on Truth Social—this time during a White House event bizarrely rededicating the United States to God.
Trump, 79, issued a chilling warning on Sunday afternoon to Iran. “For Iran, the Clock is Ticking, and they better get moving, FAST, or there won’t be anything left of them,” he wrote. “TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! President DJT.”

Axios reporter Barak Ravid also said Sunday afternoon that Trump told him in a phone call that Iran " better get moving fast (towards a deal) or they are not gonna have anything left."
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The president’s threat comes as many of his closest confidants are steps away from the White House at an event honoring America’s 250th that highlights “the Church’s role in history and civic life,” according to Trump’s communications team.

“I HOPE EVERYBODY AT REDEDICATE 250 IS HAVING A GOOD TIME,” Trump wrote hours before he threatened to kill off an entire country. “IF THERE IS ANYTHING I CAN DO TO HELP, JUST HAVE OUR BEAUTIFUL, BOTH INSIDE AND OUT, RACHAEL C.D., GIVE ME A CALL. I’M BACK FROM CHINA!!! President DJT.”
Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Secretate of State Marco Rubio, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth are all scheduled to speak at the event.
The White House has referred to the 12-hour religious occasion on the National Mall as a way to create “an energized moment of unity.”
Yet the vast majority of those speaking are far-right Christian leaders, with the exception of Rabbi Meir Soloveichik, who serves on Trump’s Religious Commission, Religious News Service reported last month.
“Our founders knew two simple truths,” Hegseth said in a promotional video, according to NewsNation. “Our rights don’t come from government; they come from God. A nation is only as strong as its faith.”
The event is meant to closely line up with a 1776 order from George Washington echoing calls for “fasting, humiliation and prayer.”
It would be about fifteen years later that the First Amendment was written to guarantee fundamental freedoms, including freedom of religion, and to prevent government infringement on faith and worship.
This isn’t the first time Trump has interrupted a particularly Holy Sunday to threaten widespread death.
The president, a Christian, kicked off Easter Sunday with a threatening message to Iran at 8:03 a.m. “Open the F—n’ Strait, you crazy b—--ds, or you’ll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH!” he raged. “Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP” He later skipped Easter Sunday mass.
